Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 golden onion
  • 1 rib of celery
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 40 g extra virgin olive oil
  • 100 g Colonnata lard
  • 250 g sausage without casing
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 200 g beans
  • 1 l meat soup

Recipe preparation:

Take a knife and cut the lard into thin strips. Take celery, carrots and onions and put them in a mixer.

After mincing the vegetables, take a large non-stick pot, pour a little olive oil and brown a clove of garlic.

When it is well browned remove it from the pan and fry celery carrots and onion.

Add the lard and crumbled sausage to the sauté, when they are well browned, add a ladle of broth and stir with a spoon.

Season with salt and pepper. Then drain the beans from its water (and add them to the other ingredients with bay leaf).

In a separate pot boil the water and cook the pasta.
